Yermak: Kharkiv the most likely target for the next Russian offensive 

Massive Russian strikes on energy and Ukrainian cities are part of Russia’s campaign to prepare for a major summer offensive, Ukrainian President’s Chief-of-Staff, Andriy Yermak, said in an interview with Politico on April 4. These strikes aim to weaken Ukraine before a new Russian offensive, Yermak added. He believes the most likely target for the main Russian strike is Kharkiv, which has faced particularly intense shelling in recent weeks.


20 injured in Russia’s attack on Zaporizhzhia, four civilians killed

Russian forces launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, striking with five missiles and targeting civilian infrastructure. The initial assault involved three missiles, followed by a subsequent strike with two more. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including buildings, shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and vehicles. It resulted in four fatalities and 20 injuries.


Ukrainian journalists injured in Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia

Journalists from the Ukrainian TV channel 1+1 and the news agency Ukrinform have been injured in a repeat attack by Russia on the city of Zaporizhzhia.


Drone attacks hit Russian air bases in Morozovsk, Yeisk, and Engels

Drones attacked several Russian military airfields at once – in Morozovsk, Yeisk, and Engels. Local residents reported dozens of explosions on social media. The attack destroyed at least 6 Russian military aircraft and inflicted substantial damage on another 8, according to media reports. 


Ukraine resumes container transportation from Greater Odesa ports

On 3 April, the first container ship since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion passed through the sea corridor to one of the Greater Odesa's ports, Chornomorsk. On 4 April, the ship left for its return trip to Constanța (Romania).


Lithuania to purchase about 3,000 FPV drones for Ukrainian military

"We continue to support Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines, so Lithuania has allocated €35 million to the Czech initiative for purchasing artillery rounds. We have also agreed with the Minister of National Defence that Lithuania will soon purchase approximately 3,000 Lithuanian FPV drones for about €2 million," said the Prime Minister of Lithuania.
