Zelenskyy comments on the possibility of holding elections under martial law
The President of Ukraine said he was ready to join the organization of the elections if partners provide financial support and members of the parliament are ready to make rapid changes to legislation. Previously, he said, the state spent up to ₴5 billion on the elections. It is unknown how much is needed during a full-scale invasion. To hold the elections, observers need to be sent to the frontline to ensure that the soldiers vote, and the electoral process needs to be organized for the seven million Ukrainians abroad.
