Poland’s Prime Minister Tusk announces special regime at checkpoints on border with Ukraine

The head of the Polish government called for the two issues to be separated in domestic and international discussions, "that is, unconditional support for Ukraine and protection of Polish farmers and the Polish market from the negative effects of trade liberalization with Ukraine." Therefore, it was decided to introduce a special regime on the border with Ukraine and adjacent sections of highways and railways. "To ensure 100% that military aid, equipment, ammunition, humanitarian and medical aid will reach the Ukrainian side without delay, we will include border crossings with Ukraine and these sections of roads and railways in the list of critical infrastructure," Tusk said.


Denmark signs long-term security agreement with Ukraine

Denmark has signed a security agreement with Ukraine, committing to support the country both militarily and civilly for the next decade. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced this commitment during a press conference. The agreement aims to support Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russia and deter future Russian attacks. Additionally, Denmark has pledged more than 1.7 billion DKK ($247 million) in the form of a 15th military aid package, which will help secure the purchase of air defense, drones, and 15,000 artillery shells.


Bundestag votes to provide Ukraine with Taurus missiles

The Bundestag had voted in favor of recommending providing Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles for "precision strikes deep in Russian territory," as reported by Yegor Cherniev, a member of the Servant of the People party and head of the permanent delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.


UK to send 200 more Brimstone anti-tank missiles to Ukraine

The UK will provide Ukraine with 200 additional Brimstone anti-tank missiles, UK Defense Secretary Grant Shapps announced in parliament on 22 February. Additionally, Shapps stated that the UK, in collaboration with other allies, would train a further 10,000 Ukrainian troops in the first half of 2024.
