Zelenskyy introduces law on multiple citizenship to Ukrainian parliament

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced during the greeting on Ukraine Unity Day, that he will introduce a law on multiple citizenship in Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada. "It will allow all ethnic Ukrainians and their descendants living in different countries worldwide to retain our citizenship. Of course, this does not apply to citizens of the aggressor country," Zelenskyy said.


Zelenskyy signs decree on Russian territories historically inhabited by Ukrainians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the government to develop a plan for preserving the national identity of Ukrainians in Russia who live in the "historically inhabited lands" in what are now the Krasnodar Krai, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, and Rostov oblasts of the Russian Federation. 


EU foreign minister says EU countries have agreed on use of Russian frozen assets

EU foreign minister Josep Borrell said that a political agreement has been reached between the EU member states regarding the use of proceeds from frozen Russian assets. According to Josep Borrell, on Wednesday EU ambassadors should greenlight the decision to  first save the funds on a separate account and then use them to support Ukraine.


Polish Prime Minister Tusk arrived in Ukraine on first working visit

During his visit to Kyiv, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that Poland joined the declaration of the Group of Seven countries on security guarantees for Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the talks with Tusk as "very effective". The president noted that they also discussed Poland's financial support for arms purchases for Ukraine and joint weapons production.


Slovak PM: Ukraine must give up territory to end Russian invasion

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Saturday the only way to end Russia's war against Ukraine is for Kyiv to give up some of its territory to the invaders, and reiterated his opposition to NATO membership for Ukraine. "There can be no compromise on territorial integrity. Neither for Ukraine, nor for Slovakia or any other country," Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko has said in response.
