Ukraine marks Volunteer Day 

Volunteer Day in Ukraine is commemorated on March 14, marking the day in 2014 when 500 Maidan Self-Defense volunteers arrived at the Novi Petrivtsi training ground near Kyiv to form the first volunteer battalion, which later evolved into the Kulchytskyi National Guard Special Purpose Battalion. “It's the day for those who, in a pivotal time for Ukraine, made their choice—the choice to defend our state and our people," Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his address.


The Verkhovna Rada and the MFA urge non-recognition of Russian presidential "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has appealed to the governments and parliaments of foreign countries, international organizations, and parliamentary assemblies regarding the Russian Federation's "presidential elections" on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine states that the holding of the Russian presidential "elections" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine is illegal, and the election campaign "demonstrates Russia's continued blatant violation of the norms and principles of international law".


Russian Volunteer Corps declares intent to fire on military targets in Belgorod and Kursk regions

Denis Nikitin, the leader and founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), has stated that anti-regime Russian military volunteers will open fire on military targets in Belgorod and Kursk regions. “Your leadership has taken no measures for your protection or evacuation, while attacks on peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine continue unabated. We are forced to open fire in response upon military targets in border regions! Evacuate immediately,” he said.


Ukraine's commander-in-chief announces launch of rotations on front line
