EU provisionally extend duty-free exports of Ukrainian agricultural products

The European Parliament and the Council have preliminarily agreed to extend trade liberalization measures for Ukraine, renewing the temporary suspension of import duties and quotas on Ukrainian agricultural exports to the EU for another year until 5 June 2025.


Borrell: European Commission provides $ 4.8 bn in its first macro-finance tranche to Ukraine

The European Commission transferred the first tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine from the large €50 billion ($ 54 billion) support package, the EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borell said. According to Borrelll, the European Council will discuss on 21 March how to accelerate Ukraine’s accession to the EU.


EU chief diplomat proposes that EU spend almost all proceeds from frozen Russian assets on weapons for Ukraine

“Today I presented a High Representative proposal for a Council decision to use the windfall revenues from Russian immobilised assets to support Ukraine in its fight to prevail. 90% will be allocated via the European Peace Facility and 10% via the EU budget,” Borell said. 


Russian missile strikes Kharkiv printing house, killing 5

A Russian X-59 missile struck a printing house in Kharkiv, killing five and wounding seven, some critically. Kharkiv, located just 30 kilometers from the Russian border, poses a challenge for Ukrainian air defense to intercept Russian missiles effectively.


Fighting continues on the border with Ukraine in the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia 

The Russian Volunteer Corps chief of staff, call sign Fortuna, told a Ukrainian TV marathon that "offensive actions and advancement along the entire contact line" in the Russian Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine are continuing.
