Drone strike on building in Odesa: 12 civilians killed, including 5 children

A total of 12 people were killed when a Russian Shahed loitering drone hit a high-rise building in Odesa on 2 March 2024, including five children: 4-month-old Tymofii, 7-month-old Liza, 3-year-old Mark, 8-year-old Zlata and Serhii who was to turn 10 in the summer. 20 civilians were injured, among them a pregnant woman. 


Zelenskyy: Polish border situation has gone too far economically and morally

"It is necessary to finally find a solution to the situation on the Polish border, which has long gone beyond [any limits of] both economics and morality. It is impossible to explain how the difficulties that a bleeding country is going through can be used in a domestic political struggle. But we will overcome this," he said.

EU Commission to propose that Ukraine join EU defense industry support scheme

The European Commission will propose to make Ukraine a full member of the EU's defense industry support scheme, which will help Brussels use Kyiv's experience and bring Ukraine closer to EU membership. The European Defense Investment Programme Regulation will be presented by the European Commission on Tuesday, 5 March, along with the EU's common political defense strategy.


A railway bridge transporting military cargo was blown up in Russian Samara region

The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine confirmed the damage to the bridge in the Russian Federation and said that this railroad line was used to transport military cargo, including engineering ammunition produced at the Polymer plant in Chapayevsk, Samara region.
