Ukraine marks the 10th anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity

Ten years ago people in Kyiv gathered at the central square to protest against the decision to stop the negotiations with the EU on Association Agreement by corrupt authoritarian President Viktor Yanukovich. Nearly 100 civilians died in violent clashes with security forces during Maidan. "The first victory in today’s war took place. A victory against indifference. A victory of courage. The victory of the Revolution of Dignity," Zelenskyy said in a statement. 


European Council President Charles Michel arrives in Kyiv

Today, 21 November, President of the European Council Charles Michel arrived in Kyiv to mark the Day of Dignity and Freedom. On this day, various Western politicians and diplomats came to Ukraine, including Moldovan President Maia Sandu and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. 


Russia wants to remove me from power before end of year – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia wants to remove him from the post of President of Ukraine by the end of 2023, for which it has come up with a destabilisation plan codenamed Maidan-3. Asked how many attempts were made on him, Zelenskyy answered: "Really, I don't know for sure. At least 5-6." "The first one is very interesting, when it is the first time, and after that it is just like Covid," Zelenskyy concluded.


Zelenskyy on whether Ukraine could kill Putin: We have the right to defend our land

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that just as Russia has not abandoned its intentions to get rid of him by any means possible, so Ukraine also has the right to kill Vladimir Putin because it is about protecting the country. 


No decision yet on change of Ukrainian commanders says Umerov

During a briefing with his German counterpart Boris Pistorius in Kyiv on November 21, Umerov said that "the topic of changing commanders goes through all the parameters that we discuss within our internal military perimeter." 


Ukrainian anti-corruption bodies exposed two MPs on bribes 

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and Ukraine's Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) have served a member of Ukrainian Parliament with a notice of suspicion for a 150,000 USD bribe. Early today another MP was served with a notice of suspicion for attempting to bribe the Head of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development. According to media reports, he refused to take bribes and informed the law enforcers, who conducted a special operation to arrest the suspected officials.
