Ukraine returns four children illegally deported to Russia

Russia has agreed to send the first four deported Ukrainian children back to Ukraine within the framework of the procedure upon mediation of Qatar. The scheme was approved after "months of secret negotiations" with Moscow and Kyiv.


Zelenskyy: Ukraine working to evacuate citizens from Gaza

Ukraine is working to evacuate nearly 260 of its citizens from Gaza and to fly other Ukrainians out of Israel, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his nightly address Sunday. Ukraine's embassy in Israel said on social media Saturday that 207 Ukrainian citizens, including 63 children, were evacuated from Tel Aviv to Romania.


Six civilians were killed in Russian attacks

Six people were killed in Russian attacks, including two in the Kherson region, amid relentless shelling. That attack also injured three people, according to Kherson Governor Oleksandr Prokudin. Meanwhile, Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv region, said a 54-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man were killed after their home was destroyed in a Russian air attack.


Ukraine's Army of Drones sets all-time record

The Ukrainian Drone Army has set a new record: 428 units of Russian equipment were hit by drones during the week. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov. During the offensive on Avdiivka, the Russians lost 101 guns, 88 armored vehicles and 75 tanks.


Air Force downs 2 of 6 missiles and 11 of 12 Russian drones

The Russians have reportedly attacked the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine with air-launched cruise missiles. The Shahed drones were launched in different directions, including towards the west.


US Special Representative for Ukraine's Recovery arrives in Kyiv

Penny Pritzker, US Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery, has arrived in Kyiv. She has already met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Pritzker’s responsibilities include working with the Ukrainian authorities, the US and partners, as well as the private sector.
