Pentagon: North Korea sends 10,000 troops to Russia to fight in Ukraine

The US estimates that North Korea has sent approximately 10,000 soldiers to Russia for training and potential combat against Ukraine in the coming weeks. Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh stated that some of these North Korean soldiers, whose deployment to Russia was confirmed last week, have already moved closer to Ukraine.

One resident was injured and was provided assistance by Ukrainian soldiers who arrived at the scene afterward, the prosecutor's office said. In a separate incident, two women have been reportedly murdered by Russian troops. The bodies have been found in a residential sector that was not heavily affected by hostilities and likely already under Russian control, the prosecutors said, citing media reports and open sources.


Number of casualties in Russian strike on Kharkiv rises to 21, including five children

Ukraine arrests UN aid volunteer accused of spying for Russia in Donetsk Oblast

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) reports to have detained a 34-year-old volunteer for the UN World Food Programme in Ukraine’s Donetsk Oblast on suspicion of gathering intelligence for Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB). The suspect used his humanitarian aid delivery routes to gather intelligence about Ukrainian infantry and artillery positions near Pokrovsk, an area where Russian forces advanced intensely.


Russian drone flies critically close to Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Plant

On Monday, October 28, a Russian "Shahed" drone flew critically close to one of the power units of the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). This was reported by Energoatom . Energoatom noted that with the onset of the autumn-winter period, Russian troops are intensifying the energy terror of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, creating new risks for the safe operation of nuclear facilities.
