Zelenskyy: We will liberate Bakhmut and two other cities

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said during a discussion with American editors in Washington that Ukraine’s Defense Forces are going to liberate Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast and two more Russian-occupied towns.


Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol attacked

Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-appointed “governor” of Sevastopol, has reported a missile attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in the afternoon of 22 September. Ukrainian military confirmed the strike on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces StratCom.


Russian missile hits civil facility in Kremenchuk, 1 killed, 15 injured

Dmytro Lunin, head of the Poltava Oblast Military Administration, reported that the Russians have launched missile attacks on Kremenchuk. One missile was shot down by air defense. Unfortunately, civil infrastructure was struck. According to preliminary reports, there have been people killed and injured.


Canada to join process of training Ukrainians on F-16s — Canadian PM

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that the country will join the coalition to train Ukrainians on F-16 fighter jets. Trudeau’s statement was part of the announcement of long-term military support for Ukraine in the amount of US$483 million, which will include 50 armored vehicles.
